In order to promote the creation and performance of electroacoustic multimedia IMMArts in conjuction with Chicago Filmmakers is organizing Switch'd on Video for November 19th 2006 as part of SEAMUS Electro-Acoustic Music Month.

Switch'd on Video is part of SEAMUS Electroacoustic Music Month and will feature video works created by professional multimedia artists from around the world. The SEAMUS Electroacoustic Music Month is a world-wide celebration of electronic, computer and electroacoustic music which occurs in November of every year. A project of the Society for Electroacoustic Music in the United States, EAMM has become an important event in the electroacoustic community.

Works submitted should be electroacoustic pieces with a video element or a video pieces with an electroacoustic element. They may include a maximum of 2 channels and should have a duration no longer than fifteen minutes. The call for works is open to composers of any nationality, each of whom may submit up to two works for consideration.

Submissions may also be for video and live performance. Performers will be responsible for any unique technical requirements necessary for performance.

Each submission should be on DVD or DVD data format. The submitted works should be accompanied with information regarding the composers name, performers names, and work titles.
