Hip Chips was an international series of concerts, initiated by EMF, focusing on the use of laptops in modern music performance. The concerts were held worldwide between February 10 and June 30, 2005. The kick off concert was held in New York City and featured the world premiere of "Until Spring Revisited" by Morton Subotnick. IMMArts hosted Hip Chips and Dip at 320 North 2nd Street (a.k.a the Attic) in DeKalb, IL on May 6th.
